Hey Peeps! It's Molly and Si. We are totally psyched for Gator season. We're HUGE Tim Tebow fans. In fact, we are homeschooled JUST LIKE TEBOW was!!! Tim Tebow and his fam helped pave the way for us to be able to play extracurricular sports such as football and cheerleading without having to spend 8 hours in a school building. We know that we're still barely doing kindergarten curriculum, but it only takes us 30 minutes to an hour to do what it takes 3-5 hours for traditional school/classrooms. We spend the rest of the time enjoying life and avoiding the long lines and traffic. We went to the Cummer Art Museum this summer. We like the kids area but the "temprorary" exhibit of the "Sketch to Scalpel" series was a little bit much for us. Our friends came with us and our friend Vivien was quite unimpressed with the exhibits/sculptures of the insides of the body. She helped us find the exit to that wing VERY quickly :) The kids area had a neat contraption that helped us learn how to mix primary colors to come up with totally new colors. Did you know that yellow and blue make green? So cool!!

We've spent some time at the Jax zoo and we TOTALLY dig the train at the zoo. Gotta try the carousel if you're ever there too.

We had a really fun science activity last week. We were munchin on Target brand cheese crackers. Pepperidge Farm monopolized the [gold]fish idea so Target chose to go the "Chickadee" route. I [Molly] wanted to know what a Chickadee looked like since we were so good at making the "Chick uh dee dee dee dee" call. Youtube has some cool videos of 'em if you need a refresher course on Chickadees! We need to make a trip to [great] Grandpa's house in Iowa pretty soon so we can see all of his birds and have him give us a primer course.

Anyway, we hope you are enjoying the last days of summer. They're totally hot here in Florida and we're grateful that the hurricanes have stayed away so far this year. And remember .... GO....GATORS!!!!

Hey everybody. It's me again. Simon. Here's a picture of Molly with my friend Evan. We were noshin' on some totally righteous Chic Fil A grub. Killer, dude!

Check it out. Me (Molly) and Simon hanging with our best buddy Evan at his birthday party in May '08.

Hey Dude! It's me Si. Long time no post! Here's a picture of me that Daddy took when he took me on a special "date" to see Thomas The Tank Engine LIVE! I love trains (and CARS). I was so excited that I was grinning the whole time. We've been super busy just bein' kids (Molly and me). We got WAY too many presents for Christmas. Also - we have been dabbling with homeschool (we go to a support group and everything) BUT Molly is still technically in preschool and the state of Florida doesn't require you to officially "enroll" as a homeschooler until you're in 1st grade so we're taking our time and Molly is starting to learn to read. Go Big Sis! Don't ask me how I know all of this stuff since I'm only 2. All questions must be submitted in writing to my mommy. Thank you in advance. Later, man.

Guess What! Guess What!!!! My BIRTHDAY PARTY IS SATURDAY!!!! I can't wait, I can't wait!!! Hooray!!!! We're going to eat and celebrate with everything PINK!!! Strawberries dipped in pink chocolate! Pink Lemonade! Pink sandwiches! Pink (okay kinda purply) grapes! We'd make the pretzels pink if we could figure out how! My cake is going to be a Barbie dressed in a pink dress! Pink ice cream sandwich cake! I LOVE PINK!!! Pinky Dinky Doo, man!

I am a princess! Watch me eat pink!

Here's a picture of me. I came running into momma's office and made her take a picture of me (with my pink camera, of course) because Kenna put my hair up in pig tails - just like my doll. Instead of saying "Cheese", I prefer to say "Blue's Clues!!". Mommy hasn't figured out why "Blue" is the preferred word when PINK is my favorite (and would make me at least look like I'm smiling instead of booing). Hooray, hooray, it's almost my birthday!!!!!!!

Here I am (Molly) riding a pony at the Shrimp Festival in May. It was REALLY hot but I sure love to ride ponies. I think I got to do it 4 times. I was supposed to dance my Lion King "Hakuna Matata" dance that day in my lion costume but I decided to pout and get upset because I don't like the costume (it's too "fit" (tight)) and I wasn't the center of attention (I had to share the limelight with 3 other girls). I guess I was acting like a 3 year old for some reason.
At least I got to ride the pony......

Here I am (Simon) noshin' on some of my Lightning McQueen (2nd birthday) cake. I dig cake, dude. Kechow!
So our nanny is taking a classroom college course (not online) on Tuesdays and Thursdays now, so we got to spend all morning with mommy today. I can't decide if I like that or not. She's much more strict than Kenna and makes me eat healthy food. I can dig it, but it threw me off my game today. We only got to play outside for awhile this morning because the rain storms were rolling in this afternoon.
We tried "school" this morning too for an hour. Molly is trying to learn her phonics (to read) and I was learning my shapes and colors. We get bored pretty quick with some of that stuff but we like it too.
I'm a pretty laid back dude so I guess my blog posts aren't as dramatic as Molly's. I'll let her post tomorrow. Later, dude.

Check out the cool cake that my mom made me for my second birthday, dude. It's a LIGHTNING MCQUEEN cake. Kechow!!!! I totally had a super duper cool birthday party on May19th with some friends and some hot dogs (my fave, man) and this awesome cake. I got LOTS of cool new toys - mostly CARS (Disney movie) cars. I've been reliving the movie in 3D with all my new cars while watching it on my Lightning McQueen shaped TV/DVD player in my room. I'm a little obsessed, but I come by it naturally. Daddy keeps making fun of mommy for reading WAY too many books and watching movies about Isaac Newton. Once we find something we really love, we have to learn everything there is to know about it before we can go on to the next subject ;)

We're gettin' excited to go see my Great Grandpa (Weir)'s wedding next weekend. We're flying on an airplane to Kansas City (to pick up Granpa (Ron)) and driving up to Cedar Rapids, Iowa for the shindig. It's been about a year since I flew on a plane so I'm not quite sure how it's going to all work. In the meantime, Molly and I have been REALLY ornery today. I even headbutted MorMor and gave her a black eye tonight. I was a little sorry, but she's going to look cool tomorrow!!! :) Later, man.

Hey man! It's me, Simon.

Here's a picture of us in front of "The Swamp". It was a fun day in April that we went to see the Orange and Blue Game. When we went inside, as soon as we sat down on our bleacher, Molly yelled "Hi Gators!". See our previous post for some more info. It was a totally fun road trip, man. My next post I'll have to show you my totally cool pics from my birthday. Later, dude.

Tuesday, May 22, 2007

Hey everybody! It's me Molly. My daddy and mommy and Simon and me went to the Orange and Blue game in Gainesville in April. It was super fun. I even got to do "high fives" with some cheerleaders and one of them took a picture of me and mommy (see picture). As soon as we walked into the stadium, Simon and I were yelling "Go Gators!" and doing the chomp. It was pretty hot but fun just the same. Plus, to add to the fun, we had our van towed and had to wait for an hour to get that back. (We blame ourselves but Mr. Mike [Barile] suggested we park there - and he got his car towed too.)
I'll have to try to post again tomorrow so I can post more pictures. I'll give Si the reigns tomorrow because it'll be all about his SECOND birthday. Can you believe he is TWO????? He's already 37" and 30 pounds. He's going to be our tall basketball player. Mommy says he'll be a Jayhawk and Daddy says he'll be a Gator. We'll have to wait about 16 years to find out!
Later!

I'll tell you what - Mommy has been SOOOO bad about taking pictures lately and keeping in touch with anybody. She hasn't even given me the chance to blog in 3 months!!! Geez. Is she like busy or something? I don't even have a picture to post! Actually - maybe I should post a picture of my birthday party (from 2006) or maybe Halloween. My FOURTH birthday will be here VERY soon. I'm SOOO excited! Daddy will be THIRTY ONE next week. He's SOO old. He doesn't like to be told that either! Si's birthday will be here in May. He's been around for almost 2 years now! Where do the days go?

I don't have much time to chat today but I'll try to make Mommy get the camera out. My dance recital is coming up in May - surely she could take some type of picture for that, right?? Come on, Mom!!

Wednesday, December 13, 2006

Here's a small taste of the room that mommy built. It's the creative studio at AXIA where mommy and daddy work. They got new furniture and lots of colors on the ground as you can see. Mommy even got an orange wall in the mix (her favorite color is orange). It's a work in progress. They still have more furniture and art for the wall to buy so you'll have to come visit and check it out in 2007.
Simon and I (Molly) are gearing up for Christmas. We're excited for the birthday party that we're going to have for Jesus. I've decided that he wants a pink princess cake to celebrate. I'll blow out his candles for him and I get to open LOTS of presents.
Mommy and MorMor went to a Cookie Exchange on Sunday so we've been noshin' on cookies. Plus, that day was exciting because Mommy's van blew the battery and we were stuck at the gas station until mommy and MorMor came to "rescue" us. At least mommy has a new battery now.
I better get back to playing. Just had a minute to blog a bit this morning. Later! Love, Molly

Friday, November 24, 2006

What's up, dude? Here's a picture of me (Simon). Molly was chasing me around the house with the camera and I was cornered so I turned around and gave her an earful as you can see. The rest of the pictures that Mommy downloaded were of the back of my head. Mommy just kept giggling and I still don't understand why.

So, we had Turkey Day yesterday and were thankful that Gigi made us a fancy meal over at her house that was very yummy. I ate LOTS of potatoes. Molly ate LOTS of turkey.

I'm still a little annoyed with my mommy (as is Molly) when she left us for a weekend to go visit her friend Stacey. She says I'm just being stubborn because it was important that she go and visit Kansas City when Carol Osterberg died. Mommy was very sad but she brought back some toys and lots of stories about our friend Kailey. She said it was nice to get away for the weekend in spite of the sad occasion but I didn't see it as "nice" but I've got to learn to be a big boy pretty soon anyway and MorMor was here so she softened the blow :)

I've been watching all of Molly's Barbie and Princess movies with her this month. I'm getting pretty good at plies and twirls so I keep hearing Mommy say that I'm getting lots of boy/manly toys for Christmas.

That's the skinny for November. Here's to an enjoyable December [bottles clinking]!

Hey everybody! It's me Molly (pronounced mawyees) Mudd. I'm posting a picture of me in my princess hat. It rarely dips under 60 down here in Florida but I do have my "ski hat" ready for when it does. Me daddy and Si were putting a puzzle together as you can see.

Mommy and Daddy have been super busy with the business this month and last. They expanded the offices in Jacksonville and mommy remodeled it all. It's VERY colorful (I'll have to post some pics).

Mommy's good friend Stacey's mommy (Carol Osterberg) passed away this past Sunday. This weekend, daddy is going to play with us a LOT while mommy does a REAL fast trip up to see Stacey and my friend Kailey and hopefully gets to pay her respects at the funeral.

Otherwise, we're gearing up for Christmas. I've been nagging and nagging mommy and Kenna for a "tiny" tabletop Christmas tree to put in my room. I LOVE birthday parties so Christmas sounds like SOO much fun that I talk about the cake we're going to have ALL the time.

Sorry we're so intermittent with our posts but the Mudd family keeps a busy schedule!!!

Monday, September 18, 2006

Hey there. It's me Simon. I'm posting a pic of one of my favorite ladies. It's my buddy Kenna. We hang out every week day while mommy is in the office. I hear mommy calling her a nanny/sitter, whatever that means. She's my friend.

So, we've been stayin' busy, man. Hittin' the zoo and Chuck E Cheese last weekend. I don't know if I overdid it or if my teeth were wreaking havoc, but I was runnin' a killer fever on Saturday but it went away by the next day. Dude, that kinda hurt and ached all over. I'm not a fan of that whole "sick" stuff. That's the view from my world. Better get back to my green beans. Later, dude!

Tuesday, September 12, 2006

So here's a picture of me back in August. I was on my way to a friend's "carnival" birthday party in Jacksonville. MorMor put my hair in pigtails and I went with GiGi to Mackenzie's party. Check out my mommy's "favorite" dress. I added the sparkly gold necklace for flair.

We've been staying busy. We go to the zoo every Saturday (me, daddy and Si). Daddy went on a 2 day biz trip to St. Augustine, FL this week so we're excited for him to come back. In the meantime, I've been working on my "potty star chart" and I got enough stars to get a new baby doll with a matching Disney Princess doll crib. I'm on my way to getting the matching stroller. I've already got enough stars (had to get 30!) to get Fairy Dora (thank you MorMor!).
Simon has been learning a new word every few hours. He used to just shake his head up and down when he wanted to say Yes, but now he also says ''mhmm". Does that count? I've taught him well. The other day he decided "MINE!!!!" was his favorite word and I think it's mine too. Get it? MINE too! So funny!

Mommy finally downloaded her camera (from June!!) so I'll be posting picture(s) from my birthday soon!! The pic of today is Slimy and me playing with powdered sugar. I asked Mommy for some "Puppy Chow" (the chocolate/peanut butter chex mix stuff) and when she turned toward the refrigerator, Si dumped the entire box of powdered sugar all over the oven and floor. We immediately found the opportunity as very enticing and proceeded to play in it. Mommy was laughing (she decided to do that instead of cry) and found the camera. We LOVE to play with sticky messy things. Simon is good at instigating messes but I'm good at helping to exacerbate it all!
We're going to the zoo again tomorrow with Daddy while Mommy goes to some training and my favorite thing lately is hanging out with Gigi and Dae and spending the night at their house on Saturdays. Speaking of grandparents, my MorMor was looking at houses yesterday and might get a place for me to terrorize this winter!!! Woohoo!
Mommy and Daddy are still waiting to hear about a big client that they presented for last week. If they get the account, we have to hire more people (and it'll help pay for the "remodel" that we're doing at the JAX office on October 1st). Have a great day!

Tuesday, August 08, 2006

How do you like me now? This is a picture of me eating my Superman ice cream from the ice cream truck. I have a way with eating that you have to experience in person, dude. So like, we're so behind on this blogging stuff. We were actually well (not sick/ill) the past couple weeks so we've been enjoying our days and haven't gotten around to blogging. I've learned how to say yes (I shake my head up on down) and I now say "meh" for milk and "mumu" and "mauwmuaw" for mommy and mormor and "dehdeh" for daddy. I say "boon" for balloon and "bah" for ball. I've learned the sign (language) for milk. I dropped a can of green beans on my toe the other day but that hasn't slowed me down that much. I am getting steadier on my feet everyday and learned how to punch, bite and kick my sister. PAYBACK for all the torment she gave me when I was learning to walk. I beat her up daily and she sometimes even provokes it. I hope you all have had a great summer. Peace out, homeys! Si

Thursday, July 13, 2006

So I'm sorry I haven't had time to write. Simon and I had ear infections and a nasty cold last week but we're on the mend. Plus, mommy has been busy learning to be the new "pool boy" so she hasn't given me the opportunity to sign in and blog.

I am planning to download my birthday pics and give you the lowdown on my big shindig. I can't believe I'm THREE years old. It was a great event so tune in soon to see the pics and hear about the event!

Trying to stay "cool" down here in Floriduh! Later! Molly Moo
