So we've been swimming a bit more these days since it's like 90 degrees outside. I was a little unsure of the water at first (and daddy dunked me under the water right out of the chute) but I'm getting used to it and I like it now. Molly loves to float in her "floatie".

We're getting geared up and ready for Molly's birthday on June 24th. Big pool party and quite the royal affair with princesses and princes and various royalty (Ariel, Cinderella and Snow White). I'll have to post some pics of my birthday party (May 21). I got cake in my eye but otherwise had a great time. LOTS of toys!

I go for my 12 month checkup this afternoon and have to get my MMR shots (yuck!). Hopefully, my ear infection(s) are all gone and I don't have to take any more antibiotics. Luckily, Amoxicillin isn't as mean to my system (and inevitabley diaper/skin on the rear) like Omnicef and Augmentin. I guess we're at TMI now. Later dude!

It's definitely summer, man! It's me Simon. It's hot down here in Florida. Me and the fam have been hanging out at our pool and soakin' up some rays, dude. My MorMor and mom have been busy with a little garden and some yardwork (Mommy cleaned out the gutters yesterday). Daddy has been trying desperately to get his computer fixed but he did take us to the park and swimming on Saturday. I like holidays since my MorMor and Daddy don't have to work!!!

I guess my mom has been trying to work on the company's new software system. I've been trying my best to play with my toys but it's SO much more fun to play with her with my toys so I guess she hasn't gotten much done lately. Luckily, Kenna comes to our house almost everyday to let my Mommy work a few hours. I guess we'll have to post a picture of Kenna soon so everyone out there can see who she is.

I've been practicing new sounds. I usually just hum and say "buh" a lot but I added a "sss" noise to the end of all my words this week. Funny, I can type using a very large vocabulary but I'm still mastering the basics of how to use my mouth for language. Ha!

I've been saying "Muhmuhmuh" for mommy and "dehdehdehdeh" for daddy. And my favorite thing to say is buhduh buhdu buhdu. I'm a HUGE fan of anything green. I LOVE peas and green beans and will even eat broccoli and brussel sprouts if I'm hungry enough. Just because they're green!

As for Molly, she's still trying to understand the point of that thing they call the toilet/potty. Mommy has a new racket going on (a bribe in my book). If Molly uses the toilet 10 times and gets 10 stars, she gets to go to a "BIG" park (one must use their hands out real wide when saying that). Daddy is even trying to talk Mommy into "Disney" as being the "big park" but she was thinking more like Adventure Landing but we'll see. We'll worry about that when it gets here since she's only had one star in 3 days. I would normally call her lame, but I'm not certain yet how I'm going to take to toilet training so I'll reserve my comments for another year :)

Well - it appears that the Mudd residence has successfully passed around a stomach flu/bug to everyone except Daddy. I'll be shocked if he makes it without puking but relieved! I woke up at 10pm last night to a bed full of puke and was NOT very happy to say the least. My tummy rocked the life out of me for a few hours but I was able to sleep a bit more peacefully around 3am and woke up this morning feeling ready to play. Mommy stayed with me and had towels to catch all of my mess(es) all night. Thank you mommy! MorMor and daddy helped clean up my initial chaotic offering too. Thank you! Now to figure out how to help mommy get a nap today.

I'm off to play with Kenna and see what mischief I can find!

Me and the fam went to Kansas City a couple weeks ago and I got to meet my friend Kailey. It was lots of fun. We went to the park. Plus, I got to hang out with my uncle JD at his new pad in Liberty/Gladstone. It's a pretty cool house. Also, I got a picture with all 4 generations of Simpsons (my mommy, grampa and great grampa and ME! (and Simon)).

This week we've been trying to recover from the stomach flu. Mommy and MorMor had it last Thursday and Simon had it last night. I'm hoping that daddy and I are able to get by unscathed (and not have to puke). I know Mommy felt horrible the day her number came up. The good thing is that we should be almost done with it all!!!!
